Size guide

Graduated compression only works if the garment fits. Two measurements and two minutes is all it takes.

How to measure

  1. Measure first thing in the morning. Swelling builds through the day, so a morning measurement gives the truest ankle circumference.
  2. Ankle: the narrowest point, just above the ankle bone. Snug, but not compressing the skin.
  3. Calf: the widest point, usually about 25cm below the knee. Stand with weight even on both feet.
  4. Use the ankle measurement first. If ankle and calf point to different sizes, call us on 01353 624624.

Individual products may vary — always check the Size Guide tab on the product page, which shows that garment’s own chart.

Wide calf and short leg fittings

If your calf measurement falls outside the chart, or the garment reaches your knee crease, you need a different fitting rather than a bigger size. We stock wide calf styles cut with up to 6cm extra width, and short leg versions shortened by around 4cm so the compression gradient still lands correctly.
